Carolyn Assa, is an award-winning broadcast journalist, former network television executive, and marketing consultant. She has told stories from newsrooms, boardrooms, and classrooms, and has led branding initiatives at several institutions, including Perkins School for the Blind, and Bunker Hill Community College. Carolyn launched the public service campaigns – A Better Community for ABC Television, and iCanConnect for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). She has pitched stories, shaped messaging, and led marketing efforts for clients in business, education, finance, government, healthcare, and technology.
Carolyn holds a master’s degree in Communications from Emerson College and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and UMass Boston. Carolyn’s focus has been to bring important issues to the public’s attention and to ensure that her audiences have the facts that enable them to make informed decisions.
