Jocelyn Perez


Research Assistant

Jocelyn recently graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health . She previously held positions at Lynn Community Health Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Michigan Department of Community Health, where her interests focused on innovative healthcare quality improvement research and policy development in health equity and racial health disparities.

Jocelyn experiences have grown her love for research. She is particularly passionate about studying how OpenNotes can help engage vulnerable patients, including historically disadvantaged populations, immigrant populations, and patients with limited English proficiency.

Jocelyn grew up in Boston and is a proud daughter of Colombian parents. During her free time, she loves to read, dance, and find ways to empower her community through activism.
