SXSW is one of the best-known annual conferences in the US focusing on trends in technology, music and film. OpenNotes is proud to present at the conference on March 9th. Our Executive Director, Cait DesRoches, DrPH, and Senior Strategist, Liz Salmi, will be featured in a panel discussion called: “Transparency in Healthcare, One Note at a Time.” Please connect with our team during the event, either in-person or virtually:
1. Attend the OpenNotes panel session live. If you are headed to SXSW and have a conference badge, come to our session: Transparency in Healthcare, One Note at a Time. The panel features Cait DesRoches, DrPH, and Liz Salmi from OpenNotes, and Rasu Shrestha, MD, of Atrium Health. The session is moderated by physician/blogger/podcaster Bryan Vartabedian, MD, of Texas Children’s Hospital.

A selection of questions from Twitter will be asked during the live presentation.
Take advantage of SXSW Social: a tool that allows SXSW registrants to search and interact with other attendees before, during and after the event.
3. Meet Cait and Liz. The OpenNotes team is up for conversations, coffee and tacos. SXSW is a notoriously busy event—if you think it’s going to be hard to schedule meetings on the fly, send us a message now at firstname.lastname@example.org. Remember, SXSW has official lounges on the top floor of the convention center for meetings and random run-ins. Have your business card handy!
