December 11, 2018

In this series of webinars, we seek to share information with health care systems, EHR vendors, clinicians, patients, and all who are interested in learning more about the research behind the cultural shift toward greater transparency through the sharing of clinicians’ notes with patients.
This webinar, hosted by our  Executive Director, Cait DesRoches, is an exploration of effective implementations of OpenNotes, addressing clinician anxiety, culture change, measurement of effective implementation, and challenges to patient engagement and access. It features presentations from our Director of Dissemination, John Santa, Dr.Kerry Litman from Kaiser Permanente Southern California,  Patient Advocate Naomi Kaufman Price, and  Dr. Marcia Sparling from Vancouver Clinic.
